We love to tell the story of Gospel advance, the stories that show Every Life Counts and that Each Church can have a story of advance. Our Creative Team calls these stories “Advance Stories.” Advance Stories tell how God is advancing the Great Commission through every life and each South Carolina Baptist church. Advance Stories are timeless celebrations of the movement of an individual, ministry, or church from a moment to a mountain. Advance Stories are God’s stories of life transformation, God encounters, and celebrations of what He is doing.

Life Transformation Story
A Life Transformation Story is when God uses the church to advance the Gospel in someone’s life. These stories include moments where someone is saved from their sin and crosses over from death to life, they’ve been sent on mission, or experiencing a “flag in the sand” moment that God changes the direction of their story. Our team of missionaries helps churches love others to see life transformation.Ministry Moment Story
SCBaptist creates environments to steward moments when God impresses on church leaders to make a move that will lead to Great Commission advance. These stories may be environments such as camps, conversations, or conferences. One Family Story
As SCBaptists, we operate as one family of leaders, churches, associations, and partners. Together, we strive towards one collective goal of helping each other advance the Great Commission. From the second seat, our SCBaptist staff should celebrate when one of our family members succeeds. These stories showcase models as an encouragement to spark ideas for advance. -

The decision to produce a video from an Advance Story lead depends on various factors, including the quality of the story, timing, and our available resources for coverage. Our Creative Team carefully evaluates each Advance Story lead to determine it’s format. We encourage you to keep submitting Advance Story leads in the future, and feel free to reach out for feedback or questions.
